For our exhibition we could get antique moulds by chocolatemould- and tinfactory Anton Reiche / Dresden, which were used to make pralines and fine chocolates between 1890 and 1930 in Adolph F. Weber's (picture) "Candyparadise" in Milwaukee/Wisconsin/USA.
Weber immigrated to the US from Germany in 1870.
We would like to thank especially Mrs. N. Weber, Weber's great granddaughter, for her support.

We are still looking for further chocolate- and pralinèmoulds. If you can help us, please contact us.

Wine gum

A part of our exhibition deals with the production of wine gum, how it was made and still is today. With the help of cast dies the wine gum figures are pressed into starch powder and filled up with the liquid candy. When it cools out the wine gum becomes hard and can be taken out of the powder. For our exhibition we could get very special dies.

You will also find many more exciting things about the famous candy maker of the gummi bear.
