Candy Making at the Beginning of the 20th Century

Many bakers and candymakers offered chocolates, pralinés and handmade hard candies in their little shops. Also in corner shops and mom-and-pop stores the classic hard candy was a must.
We display candy making machines exactly from that time. Some of them were used by baker and candymaker Ahr around 1900, who was one of southern Germany's most popular confectioners. Together with 5 assistants he produced hard candy and chocolates.
